Biot, France becomes Tacoma’s newest sister city

On April 10, 2012, the Tacoma City Council approved Biot, France to be Tacoma’s newest sister city. This is Tacoma’s 12th sister city. The Tacoma-Biot Sister City Committee is accepting members who are interested in becoming involved with this new relationship. Tacoma Sister Cities program awarded exchange funding

The City of Tacoma is one of seven U.S. cities selected by Sister Cities International to receive the Leading Asia: Renewing the U.S. and Japan Sister Cities Network exchange funding. The funding will enable a 10-day Tacoma delegation visit to our Japanese sister city, Kitakyushu.
