Tacoma Ranked in Top 10 Cities for Millennials

Tacoma made the ranks as one of the “10 Best Cities for Millenials” (18 to 29 year olds), taking into account affordable housing, low unemployment and access to nearby attractions and education. Celebrate the Elks groundbreaking on July 11

Tacoma Elks will celebrate a groundbreaking for its new lodge and construction of a restaurant and pro shop on Wednesday, July 11, at 4 p.m. The ceremony will be held at 2125 So. Cedar St., on the grounds of Allenmore Golf Course across the street from and behind the back of the old Elks lodge. All are invited to attend the groundbreaking on Wednesday.

Great news for Tacoma! The Tacoma Art Museum just announced a major donation by the Haub family – 280 major works of American Western Art along with a contribution for a new 15,000 square foot gallery and lobby expansion to house the collection, as well as endowment funds for the care of the collection. http://www.tacomaartmuseum.org/
